Arithmetical, grammatical, clerical and similar errors in an appeal or application may be rectified on the Registrar's order without notice to the parties. This ex parte amendment power is limited to correction of such errors and cannot be exercised after the respondents have appeared. The rule thus provides a restricted procedural mechanism for correcting mistakes before the Tribunal while preserving notice once the opposite party is on record.
