Cash transaction threshold for deposits and loans with cooperative agricultural societies increased, easing compliance for members.

The amendment raises the cash threshold in the prohibition under section 269SS for deposits accepted by, and loans taken from, a primary agricultural credit society or a primary co operative agricultural and rural development bank by their members, and substitutes the Explanation to adopt the definitions of "co operative bank", "primary agricultural credit society" and "primary co operative agricultural and rural development bank" from the Explanation to subsection (4) of section 80P.
