Rule 82 prescribes the form and service of summons under the Limited Liability Partnership (Winding up and Dissolution) Rules, 2010. A summons must follow the prescribed form and, unless permitted otherwise, be supported by an affidavit. The summons and affidavit must be served on every person against whom an order is sought and any person the Member directs, by personal service, prepaid registered or speed post, empanelled courier, or on the party's representative or advocate, subject to alternative directions of the Member. Different minimum notice periods apply for interlocutory and other summonses.
