Savings provision preserving the effect of amended or repealed enactments on other laws in which they have been applied, incorporated or referred to. The amendment or repeal does not affect the validity or consequences of anything already done or suffered, nor any right, title, obligation, liability, remedy, proceeding, release, discharge, indemnity or proof of past acts already existing. It also preserves any principle or rule of law, established jurisdiction, form or course of pleading, practice or procedure, and existing usage, custom, privilege, restriction, exemption, office or appointment that continues to operate despite the amendment or repeal.
