Revision of fines and penalties under scheduled enactments follows a periodic increase formula, subject to any enactment-specific revision provision.

Fines and penalties under the scheduled enactments are to be increased by 10 per cent of the minimum prescribed amount after every three years from the commencement of the Act. Where a scheduled enactment already provides its own manner of revising fines and penalties, that specific revision provision applies instead.
