The amendment to section 79 removes the terminal "or" in clause (a) and adds a proviso excluding from the section any change in voting power that takes place in a previous year consequent upon the death of a shareholder or by transfer of shares as a gift to a relative of the transferor; clause (b) of section 79 is omitted.
