Annuity deposit adjustment: amendment clarifies refund, adjustment and factors to be considered for excess or unnecessary deposits.

The amendment to Section 280W(2)(b) substitutes wording to require rules specifying how annuity deposit amounts not required to be deposited, and any excess or deficiency of annuity deposits, may be refunded, adjusted or otherwise dealt with, and to set out the factors that may be taken into account in determining such refund, adjustment or other treatment.
