The court may, on the plaintiff's application and subject to statutory preconditions, order specific performance for delivery of specific or ascertained goods, denying the defendant the option to retain the goods by paying damages; the decree may be unconditional or subject to just terms on damages, price or otherwise, and the application may be made at any time before the decree.
