Digital signature verification enables courts to order production of certificates or public-key validation of signatures.

The Court may direct production of the Digital Signature Certificate from the person, the Controller, or the Certifying Authority, or may require any person to apply the public key listed in the Digital Signature Certificate to verify the digital signature purportedly affixed by that person.
