Advance ruling validity limited to a fixed term or until law or facts change, affecting Customs advance rulings.

An amendment to section 28J substitutes subsection (2) to provide that an advance ruling remains valid for three years or until a change in law or facts on which it was based, whichever is earlier, and provides that for advance rulings in force when the Finance Bill, 2022 receives presidential assent the three year period is reckoned from the date of that assent.
