Deemed exports classification: domestic supplies of goods manufactured in India may be notified as exports when payment is in rupees or convertible foreign exchange.

Section 147 authorises the Government, on the Council's recommendation, to notify certain supplies as deemed exports where goods manufactured in India do not leave the country and payment is received in Indian rupees or in convertible foreign exchange.
