Form GST PMT 06 prescribes a standardized challan for depositing goods and services tax, recording CPIN, challan expiry, GSTIN, legal name and contact details, and a breakdown of amounts by government head and tax components (tax, interest, penalty, fee, others) with subtotals and total. It sets out selectable payment modes (electronic de payment, over the counter, NEFT/RTGS) with required remitting and beneficiary bank details, depositor particulars and signature, and captures paid challan information including bank reference/UTR and acknowledgement numbers.
