Appendix 28 prescribes a standardized proforma for requesting clarifications under the Foreign Trade Policy. The form requires applicant identification (name, address, IEC), the subject of clarification, citation of relevant policy/handbook or ITC(HS) entries, ITC codes and product descriptions, the current provision, and the precise clarification sought, together with signature, designation and contact details for correspondence.
