Foreign companies must deliver required documents to the Registrar having jurisdiction over New Delhi, with initial registration documents submitted in Form FC-1 to the Central Registration Centre. Registration fees are those set out in the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014. A foreign company that ceases to have a place of business in India must notify the Registrar, and upon such notice its obligation to deliver documents to the Registrar ceases provided it has no other place of business in India.
