Storage period limitation for imported goods; commissioner may grant successive short-term extensions to storage authorization.

Section 49 of the Customs Act is amended to restrict storage in a public warehouse to a period not exceeding thirty days, and to authorize the Commissioner of Customs to extend that storage for further periods, each not exceeding thirty days at a time.
