Amendment to Third Schedule: adds medicaments for traditional systems and revises tariff classification under Central Excise.

Amendment to the Central Excise Third Schedule inserts a new entry 31A for medicaments used in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathic or Bio-chemic systems and substitutes an existing tariff classification code in column (2) as specified in the Fifth Schedule, thereby revising the Schedule's tariff nomenclature and listed entries.
