A Chartered Engineer must, on letterhead, examine the applicant's import requirements in the Aaayat Niryaat Form against technical specifications and consumption norms and, after scrutiny of designs and drawings, certify that the listed inputs are correct and actually required for execution of the export item; the certificate must include signature and seal, place and date, registration number, official and residential addresses, official telephone, and the name and address of the registering institution.
