Repeal of prior companies enactments preserves continuity by deeming past acts, appointments and proceedings effective under new law.

Section 465 repeals specified prior company enactments while preserving continuity by deeming acts, instruments, appointments, offices, registrations, registers, funds and incorporations under the repealed laws to continue and have effect as if made under the corresponding provisions of the new Act, subject to consistency with the new law, and by preserving pending prosecutions, inspections, investigations, inquiries and matters filed with regulatory authorities for completion.
