Article 29 preserves the fiscal privileges of members of diplomatic missions and consular posts, stating that nothing in the Agreement affects those privileges; such fiscal immunities and exemptions remain governed by the general rules of international law and by any applicable special agreements, and the treaty does not alter or diminish privileges conferred outside the treaty framework.
