Continuance of treasurer office: government may reassign or rename an office and the new holder is deemed successor under the Act.

Where a government officer's post held as Treasurer of Charitable Endowments is abolished or renamed, the appropriate Government may appoint the same or another government officer by the name of his office to be Treasurer, and that officer shall be deemed for the purposes of the Act to be the successor-in-office of the former holder.
