Central and State Governments may appoint an officer as Treasurer of Charitable Endowments; the Treasurer is constituted a corporation sole to take, hold and transfer movable or immovable property under the Act, and, as such, has perpetual succession, a corporate seal, and may sue and be sued in his corporate name.
