Search and seizure powers permit authorised officers to board, stop and search vessels, vehicles and aircraft under warrant.

Regulation 9 empowers an authorised officer executing a warrant of authority to enter and search any vessel, vehicle or aircraft, require stoppage or landing if necessary, break open doors or windows after notification and demand of admittance, and afford a woman customary opportunity to withdraw before entry.
