Also BIS grants licences for the products which are under voluntary certification, if any foreign manufacturer wishes to supply its product with Standard Mark. 3. Due to various reasons, BIS expires/cancels the licences granted after which the manufacturer is not allowed to supply products with Standard Mark. The list of all operative licences is available on BIS website: https://bis.gov.in. 4. This is to bring to the notice of all Importers, Customs Brokers & others concerned with Import of goods that the products for which the Central Government has made BIS certification compulsory through various quality control orders shall not be allowed to be imported without Standard Mark. 5. The list of such 135 products under compulsory BIS certification which shall bear Standard Mark for import in India under a valid licence is enclosed as Annexure-I. 6.
