....Deputy and Assistant Commissioners of Customs in the Port Commissionerate, Kolkata are newly designated as Central Public Information Officers under the RTI Act for the charges assigned to them in Annexure-A, following revision of officer allocations and partial modification of an earlier public notice. The First Appellate Authorities remain unchanged, and the earlier public notices continue in force to the extent not modified. RTI applicants may file requests online, and applications sent by post or submitted by hand are to be addressed to the designated RTI Cell CPIO.
