....adesh Subject: Amendment in Circular No. 229 dated 09.05.2018 issued by the Mobile Squad Section regarding the procedure for interception of vehicles, detention, release, and seizure of goods and conveyances during transit. For the purpose of inspection of goods during transit, and for detention, release, and seizure of such goods and conveyances, the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs issued Circular No. 41/15/2018-GST dated 13.04.2018. In compliance with the same, Circular No. 229 dated 09.05.2018 was issued by the Mobile Squad Section. 2. In order to clarify certain issues in the above procedure, the following amendments are being made to the aforesaid Circular No. 229 dated 09.05.2018: (i) In para 2(e) of the said circular, the words "three working days" are replaced with "three days". (ii) After para 3 of the said circular, FORM GST MOV-05 shall be read as follows: "Accordingly, the goods and conveyance are released on (DD/MM/YYYY) at AM/PM." 3.
