On rolling of Bhutan Transit module in the ICES, the procedures to follow for movement of transit cargo to Bhutan through Jaigoan LCS is detailed below. 2. Clearance of goods imported for Bhutan shall be against Letter of Guarantee (LOG) issued by the Royal Bhutan Customs/representative of the Royal Government of Bhutan (Annexure-I). The LOG shall be filed online and will be processed online, in the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES). The transit cargo shall then be allowed for onward journey towards Bhutan through designated LCS. 7.9 In case of big consignment involving large number of trucks/tankers, situation may arise that part consignments are likely to reach LCS prior to dispatch of full consignment from Kolkata/Haldia/Budge Budge docks.
