Revised customs tariff values set for palm oils, soya oil, brass scrap, gold and silver from 1 Jan 2026

....CBIC substitutes the tariff value tables for specified imports by prescribing revised tariff values for crude palm oil (US$ 1077/MT), RBD palm oil (US$ 1095/MT), other palm oil (US$ 1087/MT), crude palmolein (US$ 1100/MT), RBD palmolein (US$ 1103/MT), other palmolein (US$ 1102/MT), crude soya bean oil (US$ 1162/MT), and brass scrap (all grades) (US$ 6694/MT); gold in specified forms (US$ 1405 per 10 grams) and silver in specified forms (US$ 2413 per kilogram), including where certain exemption benefits are availed; and areca nuts (US$ 7679/MT, no change). These tariff values apply for customs valuation/assessment from 1 January 2026.....
