....The government has notified a new Standard Input Output Norm (SION C-2049) for export of one mobile phone, listing permissible imported components and their allowed quantities (predominantly net-to-net or net +1%). The SION enumerates numerous parts-sensors, connectors, chips, modules, displays, filters, capacitors, inductors, screws, foams, and others-each with specified input norms. The measure permits regional authorities to grant Advance Authorisations directly without referral to the Norms Committee, intended to expedite export clearance and ensure uniformity.....
