In this regard, various representations have been received seeking permission for transhipment of durable container/Unit Load Devices for the convenience of various Importers/Exporters and simplification of the whole procedure. On arrival of the Containers of durable nature, the Container Agent shall approach the Transhipment Section, ACC Bengaluru with the requisite documents i.e IGM, list of Containers imported etc. The officer of Transhipment Section, ACC Bengaluru would enter the details in the Bond register, which is maintained by the Section as per IGM/Container Agent for import of Containers. The Officer would also make entry in the Bond register for debit /credit of the imported containers and allow the movement of all such containers within Indian Airports as well as to the Exporters requiring the containers. 7.
