....The Central Government notified an 11.541-hectare area in Village Hirapur, Tahsil Sanand, District Ahmedabad as a Special Economic Zone for semiconductor/electronic component manufacturing proposed by a private developer, having granted approval on 16 September 2025. The notification lists the constituent survey parcels, constitutes an Approval Committee comprising specified central and state ex-officio members and a developer representative as special invitee for exercise of powers under the SEZ Act, and declares 23 September 2025 as the date from which the SEZ shall be deemed an Inland Container Depot under the Customs Act.....
