....The customs authority announces that the Sea Postal Appraising Department/Foreign Post Office has been merged into the Air Postal Appraising Department/Foreign Post Office, effective 4 August 2025; all postal import and export consignments formerly handled by the Sea-PAD under the Import Commissionerate will henceforth be cleared by the Air-PAD under the Airport Commissionerate (Chennai-1). The unified Foreign Post Office will operate from the Air-PAD/FPO at Meenambakkam, Chennai, and stakeholders must direct future correspondence and queries to the Postal Appraising Department, Foreign Post Building, Meenambakkam (email: [email protected]).....
