....The government amended the Customs notification fixing tariff values for specified goods, including edible oils, brass scrap, areca nuts, gold, and silver. Revised tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne or per unit are prescribed for crude and refined palm oil, palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, areca nuts, gold, and silver in various forms. These updated values replace previous tables in the 2001 notification and take effect from August 1, 2025. The amendments aim to regulate customs valuation and import duties on these commodities under the Customs Act, 1962.....
