....RBI issued Foreign Exchange Management (Export of Goods & Services) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 under Section 7 and Section 47(2)(b) of FEMA, 1999. The amendment inserts new sub-regulation (ca) in regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations, 2015, permitting export of tugs, tug boats, dredgers and vessels used for offshore support services, subject to mandatory re-import into India. The notification was signed by Chief General Manager and comes into force upon publication in Official Gazette. This regulatory amendment expands permissible export categories under FEMA framework while ensuring asset repatriation through re-import condition for specified maritime equipment and vessels.....
