....SEBI issued a notification under the Certification of Associated Persons in Securities Markets Regulations, 2007, mandating certification requirements for Alternative Investment Fund managers. At least one key personnel in the investment team of Category I and II AIF managers must obtain NISM Series-XIX-C or Series-XIX-D certification, while Category III AIF managers require Series-XIX-C or Series-XIX-E certification. Existing AIFs must comply by July 31, 2025. The notification supersedes the previous May 10, 2024 notification and becomes effective upon Official Gazette publication.
