....The SC granted bail to the petitioner in a money laundering case under PMLA. The Court noted that charges had not yet been framed and trial had not commenced in the predicate offence. Considering the maximum sentence under PMLA is seven years, the Court determined this was an appropriate case for bail. The SC directed that the petitioner be produced before the Special Court within seven days, which shall thereafter release the petitioner on bail with appropriate terms and conditions. The SLP was disposed of accordingly.....
