The notification restricts imports of Ready Made Garments, processed food items, cotton yarn, plastic goods, and wooden furniture through certain land ports, mandating alternative seaports or transit routes. Specific land customs stations in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, and select West Bengal locations are prohibited for these imports. Exceptions are granted for fish, LPG, edible oil, crushed stone, and goods transiting to Nepal/Bhutan.
