....nd All India Air Transhipment Message filings at ICEGATE in imports. Introduction of TA Bond As per the requirements of various stakeholders, a new bond type "TA" (Transhipment Air Global) has been implemented by the CBIC in ICES for transhipment of imported goods: From one Air Customs site to another Air Customs site. From one Air Customs site to an ICD. Carriers/airlines are required to register the new "TA" bond at any Air Customs port. This bond can be used for transhipment at all other Air Customs EDI ports. The process of debiting the Bond/Bank Guarantee (BG) is explained in the referred Advisories dated 05.12.2022 and 08.12.2022 (copies enclosed). Continuation of TP Bond It is informed that there is an existing provision of "IP" bond for transhipment, which is registered at a local Customs port and can be used for transhipment of cargo from that port to any other port. 1. The existing system of "TP" bond will continue for handling transhipment of cargo (including Air-to-Air and Air-to-ICD) for those airlines and carriers who do not wish to submit the national bond and prefer submitting only local bonds. The salient features of the procedure to be followed are given below for familiarization of various stakeholders - 3.1.
