The key points are: BFDA will issue Health Certificates for food exports to India as proof of FSSAI compliance. For approved Bhutanese manufacturers, their consignments accompanied by a BFDA-issued Health Certificate can be granted NOC based on the certificate. The importer must upload the Health Certificate on e-sanchit for Customs verification. Customs officers functioning as FSSAI officers must ensure proper documentation before granting NOC.
