....ther alleged that out of the aforesaid amount, Rs. 1 lakh was paid personally by the appellant to a person of Mannady, Madras, and another Rs. 50,000 to one A. Sulaiman of North Street, Keelakarai, Trichi while remaining Rs. 50,000 paid through his servant Basheer Ahmed to afore- said A. Sulaiman and other Rs. 5,000 paid to Ms. Haseena Beevi. The Mahazer dated 25-4-1991 recorded for the search of the shop mentions that 5 paper slips were recovered from the shirt pocket worn at that time by the appellant but nothing else was recovered inside the shop or during the search of the residential premises of the appellant.
