....The Public Notice extends the abeyance of Public Notice No. 05/2024 dated 27.05.2024, which modified wastage permissible and Standard Input Output Norms for Gold/Platinum/Silver content in export items, until 15.09.2024. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade received proposed revisions to wastage norms from the Norms Committee, currently under consideration. Consequently, the earlier wastage norms under Para 4.59 of Handbook of Procedures 2023 and SIONs M1 to M7 prior to Public Notice No. 05/2024 are reinstated during the interim period. The abeyance aims to invite suggestions/comments on the proposed revisions recommended by the Norms Committee.....
