....This public notice amends Paragraph 10.06(III) of the Handbook of Procedure 2023 regarding the Inter Ministerial Working Group (IMWG). It allows authorizations to be issued with the approval of the IMWG Chairman or any officer nominated by the Chairman/DGFT (not below the rank of Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade/Under Secretary) in cases where comments/views/NOCs are received from all concerned agencies without divergence, subject to ex-post facto approval by IMWG in subsequent meetings. The amendment delegates power for approval of authorizations under SCOMET where there is no divergence among agencies.....
