....The Government of India, u/s 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, issued Notification No. 40/2024-Customs (N.T.) on 6th June, 2024, replacing Notification No. 36/2024-Customs(N.T.). The notification determines the exchange rates for various foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and export goods. Schedule I lists rates for currencies like Australian Dollar, EURO, Pound Sterling, etc. Schedule II lists rates for Japanese Yen, Korean Won, etc. The rates are effective from 7th June, 2024. The notification is issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.....
