Briefly stated the facts of the case are that on 7-11-2014 the officers of GRP, Railway Police, Chhapra recovered 800 kgs in 10 Gunny Bags, Split Betel Nuts from Platform No. 1 of Chhapra Railway Station and on 10-11-2014, handed over the said goods to the Customs Officers of Chhapra for taking action under Customs law.
