Circulars 36/2017, 37/2017 and 41/2017 - Customs prescribe the use of "RFID tamper proof one-time-bolt seal" and providing of readers / procedure for its use by Customs. A period of one month (or as extended by the proper officer) has been provided under the regulations for producing the acknowledgment, failing which, the owner of the goods is required to pay full duties along with interest, fine and penalty.
