The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and Export Inspection Agency (EIA) have been declared as the Central Competent Authority by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India vide letter No. 2/ 29/2007-EI & EP dated 30-07-2007.
