....y this Court in an appeal filed by it from the order dated 6th September, 2013 of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (Tribunal). 2. The aforesaid demand was made consequent to the order dated 6th September, 2013 of the Tribunal by letter dated 19th February, 2014 addressed by the Deputy Director of the Income-Tax to the applicant. The impugned order of the Tribunal dated 6th September, 2013 disposed of 130 appeals. Thereafter the appellant and other similarly placed group companies filed 129 Miscellaneous applications. The applicant filed its Miscellaneous Application filed on 9th November, 2013 seeking recall of the order dated 6th September, 2013 on the ground that it failed to consider issues which go to the root of the dispute althoug....

As pointed out above, this demand of Rs. 62.69 crores was raised by the communication dated 19th February, 2014 received from the Deputy Director of Income Tax. In the above circumstances, the applicant took out this Notice of Motion on 24th February, 2014. This Notice of Motion was adjourned from time to time beginning from 3rd March, 2014 as the Miscellaneous Application had already been filed and was in fact part-heard on 7th March, 2014 before the Tribunal. It appears that Miscellaneous Application has since been heard but order on the same could not be passed as one of the members, who heard the matter on 23rd January, 2015, unfortunately passed away before....
