The petitioner filed revised return on 27.03.2001. Subsequent thereto, the petitioner was issued notice under Section 148 of the Act and final assessment order came to passed on 23.03.2005. Against the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the CIT(A), which came to be partly allowed, giving effect to the said order with effect from 31.08.2005.
