The self assessment tax was paid on various dates amounting to Rs. 40 lakhs prior to the date of filing of return of income and an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs was paid on 3.11.2009 subsequent to the date of filing of the return and the balance outstanding demand was Rs. 9,60,000/-.
