.... rejected the LIFO method as applied by the assessee. I further find that the Hon'ble Apex court in the case of Commissioner of Income-tax v. Woodward Governor India P. Ltd. [2009] 312 ITR 254 (SC)  has held that "Method of accounting followed by assessee continuously, binding on AO unless he find that the system followed does not reflect true profit." Keeping in view of the facts and circumstances of the case and respectfully following the precedents as aforesaid, I delete the addition made by the AO and confirmed by the Ld. CIT(A) and allow the ground no. 1 (a) & (b) raised by the assessee. 7.
