....ial Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a multi-product Special Economic Zone at Mundra village, Taluka - Mundra in the State of Gujarat; And, whereas, the central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the multi-product Special Economic Zone at the said Mundra village area on 12th April, 2006 over an area of 2658.19 hectares; And whereas the Central Government, after being satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act an other related requirements were fulfilled, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 notified the total area of 2406-75-92 hectares and 251-43-08 hectares at Mundra in the State of Gujarat as Special Economic Zone vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O.936(E....
